The Fest’Napuan Committee will select the successful applicants based on quality of applications received

Desired qualities of participants

Previous volunteer experience with technical or musical product

Previous experience in setting up or assisting to set up the sound system for a band to perform, whether for a concert or for rehearsals, or for a church service (both “pop” and string band)

A passion for music and production

The applicant should have a strong passion, and some familiarity with music and how it is produced

Operational Health and Safety

The applicant should be willing to work in technical environment that requires consideration for safety.

Additionally, it is important that the participant be physically fit as lifting, and long working hours are required

Team Worker

The participant needs to be willing to operate as a team, share and be delegated certain tasks

Willingness to train others in the future.
The participant needs to display a willingness to contribute to the learning of others at a later opportunity.
Willingness to contribute to the community.
Enthusiastic and resourceful.

Above all the participant will need to be enthusiastic about the direction of music in Vanuatu and Melanesia, and be willing to contribute in meaningful ways – as a result of this training.
